Social Media Marketing: Using social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Youtube for the purpose of attracting attention to your business product or service. The top benefits of social media marketing include its accessibility to the small business owner due to its generally inexpensive nature, as well as the concept of your business message spreading potentially from user to user, rather than straight from your company.
Google Adwords: Google Adwords is a pay per click program in which a company places advertisements on specific keywords related to their product or service. The advertisement will show up in the Google search results and every time someone clicks on your advertisement, you will pay Google a set fee. The benefit of using Google Adwords is that is generates instant traffic to your website. To make it cost-efficient, you simply track how well each of your keywords is doing, eliminate your ads on the duds, and increase your ads on the ones resulting in conversions (buyer transactions). You can track your keywords using a program such as Google Analytics.
Article Marketing: Article marketing is the process by which your write an article related to your small business and then submit it to article directories on the internet. Once your article has been published to a directory, people with websites and blogs can take your article from the directories and post it on their sites. Every article you write will include a backlink to your site, so basically its free advertising for you!
Search Engine Optimization Positioning: This is simply the process of increasing your website traffic by ranking high in the search results for a given search engine. Naturally, the sites that get the most traffic are usually the ones that are listed on the top page or two of the search results. The search engines determine your position based on the value of your sites content, as well as the amount of links for your website across the web. What is the best (U.S.-based) Web Host for a small business any why?
Need to hopefully on-shore my small business website (not e-commerce) and change the name, having the old domain name automatically “refer” viewers to the new domain. Complications include the use of Google Apps foe e-mail. I’m guessing I would need a good deal of customer support (handholding). Thank you.

Can I use Google Adsense with my Yahoo! Web Hosting?

Best free web building/hosting for small business beginner?
I am totally new to this so I need something very easy to navigate. I can always upgrade when I am more familiar with it. I just need something where I can list my products (mainly automotive) and have a shopping cart with paypal, google, or credit card. I would love it if were easy to find and had adequate tagging for search engines, but for now I will probably be directing local people to my website, so that is not a huge issue for me, or something I am yet willing to pay for.
What do you use, pros, cons, etc???
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks and God bless!!

Free web hosting for a commercial enterprise is a no,no. There’s full service hosting available from US$4.00 per month. A domain name will cost around US$9.00/10.00 per year. Work out your key words and create your domain name from those.
An easy and cheap way for an online store is to use WordPress and a free ecommerce plugin. Good hosting such as from Hostagator will include WordPress (free) as part of their hosting package. WordPress is fairly easy to install and configure/personalize – there’s a lot of free info about this on Google. You will need to find a theme (there are thousands that are free- I prefer the 3 column one for ecommerce) but you will to create your own header graphic and possibly footer.
Try http://www.elance.com for someone to do your header graphic if your cannot.
I have around 10 online stores using WordPress and I do prefer the paid plugin WP-eStore from http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com but I do use the free version of the WP-eCommerce from http://www.getshopped.net on a couple of blogs. These plugins handle both physical and digital products.
Both these plugins use Paypal and there is at least one other payment processor included.
There are several free WordPress plugins to help with SEO.

What is the best web hosting domain company for starting a business website?
I am starting up a small business and would like to find the best web hosting service with domain name to store my site.
I have created web sites using iWeb before and it would be helpful if there were templates that I can use to help me design my pages as I am not a web designer.
I was looking into hostgator, but I’m not sure if they allow you your own .com domain. I like their $100 Google Adwords credit for signing up.
