The Demographics of Video Game Players
Video game demographics generally involves studying the video gaming habits of various kinds of people from different age groups. There are several primary and secondary researching techniques which are used like phone and personal interviews as well as the analysis of market surveys, company literature and trade journals.

The demographics of those video game players and related studies usually reveal that video games and playing them are adult-oriented forms of entertainment. Based on the studies conducted, video games are extensively played by men and women alike and nearly 60% of Americans are playing them.

Studying the demographics of video game players also include the various demographic variables like how many people in the population are actually playing them, what the average age of players is, the gender of video game players, what video games they play and what the effects these video games have on the population. Recent studies have shown that many people consider video games to be a very important entertainment medium.

Based on video game demographics, women make up a significant 39% of those who play video games in the population. Also, a surprising 40% of online gamers are women. 35% are below eighteen years old. And based on studies, the people who regularly play video games are in the 18 to 34 year old age group.

Overall, the video game industries and developers are the ones who make the most out of video game demographics. It is through these that they are able to identify the characteristics and preferences of customers and potential clients. They also use video game demographics so that they can enhance the games they develop and release.

Website Design hosting and domain names?
i need a website that hosts websites for free, and gives you a domain name completely free, it needs to have secure ssl, public message posting, and website email (ie email@website.com) is there anything besides the very limited google sites, or can i make my own website without having to pay someone else to host your site and make a domain name?

How much should i charge for a website, hosting and domain name?
I have recently been asked to make a few websites for some friends, making and charging for the website is fine, however obviously they want a domain name and web hosting aswell.
I am going to be doing both of these through 123-reg.co.uk, and for these you have to pay either yearly or monthly prices.
So the question is, how do I charge for this?
do i ask for their credit card details and use them for both? or do i ask for a monthly price off of them? or what?
    Thanks

I would do the web site work but have the customer handle their own domain registration. If it’s registered in your name or your company name then you are the one legally responsible for the site and it’s content. I would simply advise them where to buy, and charge a small fee to handle the setup for them.

How much money are you willing to pay for website hosting & domain names?
I’ve recently started up my own website hosting firm, and need some price suggestions.
Up until now I’ve been using GoDaddy and other popular providers to get a basic pricing example, but I feel as if I should also get the opinion from you guys.

How much money do you currently spend on website hosting (month) and domain hosting (year), or if you do not already have website or domain hosting, how much money do you think is the average price, and how much would you be willing to spend on website hosting or domain names?

Also, please tell me which domain extension you’re using. (.COM, .NET, .ORG, etc)
